A published writer, Adele has many years of professional writing and editing credits, including a year as staff writer for the weekly inspirational children’s show TQ on CTS TV. Feature articles, essays, how-to’s, travel, poetry and interviews have been published in the Toronto Star, Mensa Canada Communications, The Word Weaver (WCDR), Cullen Gardens and Miniature Village newspaper, Cullen Country Barns newspaper, Oshawa This Week, Decision Magazine, and more…
Adele’s creative writing includes stories and poetry recently published in A Second Cup Of Hot Apple Cider and Being Unquiet.

On the BUSINESS side…
Adele is a seasoned conference SPEAKER and TEACHER, presenting myriad topics from running effective meetings and handling sound equipment, to puppetry and recycling crafts.
An experienced project leader and business MANAGER, Adele was General Manager at the beautiful show garden Cullen Gardens and Miniature Village in Whitby for 8 years, with a staff of 250 in peak season. This delightful tourist attraction welcomed 300,000 visitors a year. She co-authored Len Cullen’s sold-out autobiography Dig About It And Dung It, and wrote most of Cullen Gardens’ newspaper, promotional and marketing pieces, as well as business materials and procedures manuals.
Other positions include 10 years as a Special Educator and Music Therapist with developmentallly challenged adults in Quebec and 3 years as Teacher (Entertainment Administration, Sports Admin., and Office Admin. Programs) at Durham College in Oshawa.

A veteran musician, praise and worship leader, recording artist and producer, Adele performs, entertains and ministers to all ages, in all types of venues. She has a dozen recordings to her credit, both secular and Gospel, and her songs have been aired on radio and television. As writer and director, she has produced hundreds of stage shows. In the studio, working with top artists, she has produced several CD’s, including “Praise For The Harvest” for Crossroads’ Women Who Win Ministries. In 2004, her arrangement of “In Flanders Fields” was broadcast on CBC for Toronto’s Official Remembrance Day ceremonies, chosen by the Toronto Mayor and Lt.-Governor of Ontario. In 2006, her song “Let Me Leave It With You” was a finalist in The Word Guild Canadian Writing Awards.

Her concerts, television, speaking and music ministry over the years have taken her across Canada from Charlottetown to Fort St. John to Vancouver to Kapuskasing. She has performed in Nashville and New York, Boston, Spokane, and Hollywood. Her first public solo was in Soest, Germany, at age 7. Adele has been a frequent guest on “100 Huntley Street” on Global TV. From the sublime to the ridiculous, Adele has spoken or sung at the Royal York Hotel (Toronto)… the Pacific National Exhibition (Vancouver)… Toronto
City Hall… Radio… Television… Women’s Conferences… Youth Retreats… Toronto City Mission Workshops… Canada’s Wonderland… Golf and Country Clubs… Churches… Hospitals… Seniors’ Homes… Jails… Boats… Libraries… Kids’ Camps… Hay Wagons… and Birthday Parties for four-year-olds.
They say those who can’t do, teach. Not so, for Adele! She is eager to share her skills so that others “can do” too. She leads workshops for writers, speakers, youth workers and teachers, and does motivational speaking for conferences and retreats. Her aim: Equip the Saints!In her “spare” time (insert smile), Adele teaches a free community guitar club in Whitby, sings and plays a variety of instruments with the Worship Team in her church. She coaches young musicians and singers, and teaches Creative Ministries Workshops (puppetry, drama, black light, writing, storytelling, lyric dance, balloon sculpture, recycling crafts, and choirs).
